My Story

Hi, I’m Clara 👋

I’m the developer of The Last Raccoon a solo indie game developer passionate about raccoons and horror games.

I am originally from Spain and now live in Germany. I studied Audiovisual Communication and worked as a professional graphic designer and programmer for the past eight years. Those experiences gave me the skills I needed to start building the game of my dreams.

For the past three years, I have been working on a single-player survival-horror game developed in Unreal Engine 5, where you play as a raccoon exploring an abandoned mansion full of puzzles, secrets, and zombies. The idea came from my love of dark fairy tales and my fascination with animals, especially raccoons, which are clever, curious, and often misunderstood just like the game’s protagonist.

Building this game alone has been a huge challenge, but doing everything myself from design, programming, art, and storytelling let me fully shape the world I always imagined. The game blends atmospheric exploration, clever puzzles, and survival-horror tension, all from a raccoon’s unique perspective.

When I can, I also support a local raccoon rescue. Spending time with these incredible animals gives me constant inspiration and motivation for this deeply personal project.

Sharing this game with the world is the result of years of hard work and passion. I am thrilled for players and the press to explore the mansion, uncover its secrets, and experience the story through the eyes of a raccoon.

I have been funding and developing this game on my own for the past years.
For now, I will self-publish on PC, but if you like the game idea and want to support it, I would love to hear from you.
